Dylan played her usual stellar defense and scored some buckets as well. With the team’s starting point guard going down with a season ending knee injury, she’ll be tasked with taking on some more ball handling duties. It looks like she is up to the job if today was any indication. She made good decisions with the ball and helped to keep the team organized in half court sets.

Dylan keeps turning in strong performances this summer. We already knew about her strong defense, but her offense is starting to become just as impressive. She gets to the basket with ease and has a knack for finishing tough shots but making them look smooth. Working on her handle this summer has paid off as this has allowed her to open up her game. She is going to pick up more D1 offers this July.

Dylan was recently recognized as one of the area’s top defenders. She has jumped out to a great start this spring and recently picked up her first D1 offer from South Carolina State. She is running with Team Melo in the EYCL league and is primed to pick up a few more offers this summer. Her defense is her calling card, but she is starting to expand her game on the other side of the court as well.

Dylan was the best player in this game. She played her usual excellent on ball and team defense, shutting off scoring lanes and disrupting everything near her. In addition to her stellar defense, she also led the team in scoring. She did most of her damage in the paint, beating defenders off the dribble or getting buckets off back door cuts. Her stock has really risen so far this season.

Dylan gained all-county honors as a freshman and has been turning heads with some early season awards. She is currently #67 but should make a rise if she continues on the same path. River Hill is always a contender in the state playoff race and she will be a key player in their success.
