Elise paused on the perimeter, then buried a smooth wing three. She knocked down another triple from the mid-corner, and closed out out hard on a shooter to swat a shot away with ferocity. Elise was active on the ball and in the gap, wreaking havoc on guards with her relentless pressure. She deflected the ball away for a steal and fired a lead pass ahead to a sprinting teammate up the court for an assist. Elise poked the ball out for a steal and finished with ease at the rim with her left. She swiped the ball away for another steal up top and accelerated to score a fast break bucket with her off hand.

Elise of Michigan Premier Cole earned First Team 17U All-Tournament honors after a tremendous weekend at the PGH MI State Tournament. She played a major role in helping her team advance to the championship game, highlighted by an outstanding semifinal performance where she caught fire from deep and connected on five three-pointers. Beyond her shooting, Elise impacted the game all over the floor with her nonstop motor and competitive energy. Defensively, she stood out with active hands, strong instincts, and the ability to disrupt opposing offenses throughout the tournament. Her two-way play, effort, and timely shot making made her one of the most valuable performers in the 17U division.

Elise turned in a gritty effort for the Warriors. She scored a tough and-one layup on a drive, then used a great step-through to cause another foul in the paint. Elise earned many trips to the foul line and knocked down six key free throws. She pursued rebounds and gave Grass Lake second-chance scoring opportunities. Elise poured in 10 points for the Warriors and will be a scrappy two-way guard to follow on the circuit this spring.

Elise had a very impactful day for Grass Lake at the West Michigan Hoop Summit. She drove hard to the basket, absorbed contact, and finished with a strong and-one layup. Elise completed the three-point play at the line. She was aggressive on defense and worked hard to keep forwards from getting position to catch entry passes into the post. Elise used excellent wall-up technique and dished out an assist after swiping the ball away. She converted a tough, contested layup with her left and made a great jump pass assist on the move after driving baseline. Elise contributed 11 points (5 for 5 FTs), with five assists, and three steals in the win.

Elise continues to prove why she’s one of Grass Lake’s most energetic and impactful guards. She plays with a constant spark, influencing the game on both ends of the court. Her quick instincts help her find openings to score, and she finishes with confidence when she attacks the rim. Defensively, her active hands and awareness create mistakes for opponents, and she’s always ready to push the ball up the floor to ignite fast-break opportunities. Elise’s hustle, alert decision-making, and relentless effort make her a valuable catalyst for the Warriors every time she steps on the court.

She’s a high-IQ player, and that makes her an appealing next-level guard prospect. Elise distributed the rock with great vision. She knocked down shots confidently from beyond the arc and in the mid-range, while also using her dribble to score layups. Elise took home an MVP t-shirt and is a First-Team All-Showcase selection.

Elise was an MVP and top performer for Team Wings, showing why she’s a player college coaches need to keep on their radar. She’s a smart, tenacious defender who constantly disrupts opponents with her energy and anticipation. Offensively, Elise displayed great court vision and the ability to score at all three levels—whether attacking off the bounce, pulling up in the midrange, or knocking down shots from deep. Her poise, IQ, and versatility make her the kind of guard who elevates everyone around her.

Elise is a showcase veteran–she’s performed at a high level many times under the spotlight. She took home PGH Expo First Team honors and has continued to climb the rankings. Elise can do it all–three-point shooting, poised ball-handling, precision passing, high defensive IQ, high motor, and good instincts without the ball. She’s a court general I expect college coaches to notice at the Headliners Invitational.
