Hadleigh, playing on Team 7 at The Expo, was one of my top performers on the day with the presence she established in the paint. The post player consistently worked to earn position inside, using strong seals to give her teammates a clear target and showing reliable hands when the ball was delivered into traffic. Once she caught it, Hadleigh displayed good footwork around the rim, staying composed and using her positioning to create scoring opportunities. She was also a factor on the glass, competing for rebounds on both the offensive and defensive ends and helping extend possessions with her work on the offensive boards. Defensively, Hadleigh protected the paint and recorded multiple blocks throughout the day. Her ability to establish position, rebound, finish around the basket, and provide rim protection made her a consistent presence inside.

Hadleigh was impactful for Grass Lake as a freshman, and she appears ready to take another step forward as a sophomore. Her length/physicality, footwork, touch around the basket, rebounding presence, defensive effort, and ability to stretch the floor are all advantages that create matchup nightmares for opponents. In the drills, Hadleigh looked to be in her element when making spin dribbles and transferring the ball to score with her right and left with a soft touch. She ran the court well in the transition passing a drill. Hadleigh finished layups efficiently and under control with her right and left. In games, Hadleigh held her ground, securing two straight offensive rebounds, shielding the ball with her body, then powering up off two feet to score the layup in traffic. She protected the basket and swatted a shot away on the defensive end. Two more plays that stood out during my observations: a flex cut with a smooth catch and finish off two, plus a smooth straightaway three at the end of the session during lightning. Hadleigh is coming off a fantastic AAU season, and she separated herself at Grass Lake open gym. Hadleigh competes with a relentless work ethic and will be one of the top forward prospects in the gym at The Expo on Saturday.

Hadleigh is a prospect that you never have to worry about as far as hustle, effort, or playing equally hard on both ends of the court. She’s consistent and checks the boxes you look for in a higher-level forward prospect. Strong physically, high-motor, persistent rebounder, runs the floor well, good hands, good footwork, plus vision as a passer, makes the right plays, sound footwork, goes up strong inside/not timid, and can stretch the floor with her mid-range/perimeter jumper. Hadleigh attacked on a face-up drive to score a contested finish, worked hard to secure an offensive rebound and pivoted to convert a putback, drained a free throw jumper after corraling another offensive rebound, and closed out hard with a high hand on a corner three to make a vicious block. She had a great day at Oakland Elite Camp and will be a formidable front-court presence in the Grass Lake lineup this winter.

Hadleigh is one of the top forwards in her class, and she looked like it with Michigan Premier 15U at the Select Super Showcase. She was a complete difference-maker as a shot-blocker, rebounder, defender, and finisher. Hadleigh closed out hard to keep shooters from getting open looks on the perimeter, then immediately flipped her hips to sprint and block shot attempts on drives. She blocked multiple shots and jumped into the passing lanes to create steals. Hadleigh caught an entry pass with soft hands, then used her shoulder to create the space needed to finish at the rim. She goes up strong and finished layups in stride with good touch around the basket. Hadleigh crashed the boards constantly and was an extremely aggressive rebounder.

I had the opportunity to see Hadleigh compete at practice, AAU games, and high school summer ball. She left no doubt in my mind that she belongs with the top forward prospects in the state. Hadleigh has the physical strength and mobility for her size to match up with versatile forwards without yielding an inch. She works hard to secure rebounds on both ends of the court, finishes strong off two feet with touch around the basket, and can step outside to knock down threes. Hadleigh has excellent hands and footwork inside. She runs the floor well to give guards a scoring option in transition, protects the rim as a shot-blocker, and has great passing instincts.

Hadleigh proved she can go to war in the paint and hold her own against high-level forward prospects during CMU Team Camp. She has the length, mobility, motor, and size necessary to do so, clearly belonging in that elite group of forwards in this class. Hadleigh was physical and went up strong to secure tough rebounds and earn trips to the free throw line. She knocked down a pull-up jumper in the lane off a crossover dribble and muscled her way into position to secure offensive rebounds. Hadleigh rotated well with great awareness from the help side to block multiple shots and didn’t yield an inch. She maintained her position with a strong stance and worked hard to defend the post. Hadleigh has good hands/touch at the rim and can stretch the floor as a perimeter threat. She’s poised for a stellar sophomore campaign at Grass Lake.

Hadleigh has fundamental skills, mobility, footwork, and length that put her in a high category as a forward prospect. She can stretch the floor with her three-point shooting, get up and down the court in transition, and defend in space. Hadleigh catches passes with good hands inside, keeps the ball high, and finishes with touch. She maintains balance and speed when finishing with either hand around the basket. Hadleigh knocked down a mid-wing jumper, scored through contact off two feet, drilled threes with a confident follow-through in shooting drills, grabbed rebounds, blocked shots on drives, and deflected entry passes. She had a very impressive showing at Michigan Premier practice.

Hadleigh turned in an All-Tournament First Team performance for Michigan Premier 15U Select at the PGH MI College Tournament III. Her physicality and skill in the post on both ends were a difference-maker for the team. She protected the rim as a shot-blocker, maneuvered/muscled her way into effective rebounding position, and corralled rebounds on both ends of the court. Hadleigh finished well off two feet, caught passes with good hands, and showed great vision/touch as a passer out of the high post. She’s a prospect to follow closely in the Michigan Premier program.

Hadleigh is a long, physical, and skilled post prospect in the Grass Lake program with a bright future ahead of her. She used her shoulder inside to create space, ripped the ball aggressively to protect it in traffic, and grabbed rebounds with strong hands. Hadleigh worked hard in the paint and scored a tough putback through a foul. She deflected several deflections with her active hands in the passing lanes.

Hadleigh had an impressive showing at Wade’s World Fall Showcase, standing out with her versatility in 3v3 play. She knocked down a triple, then followed it up with a crafty spin move around the rim on the very next possession. Hadleigh also battled hard on the boards, securing offensive rebounds and converting put-backs, showing a nose for the basket. As a 2029, she brings skill and energy that should allow her to make an immediate impact on an already talented Grass Lake team this winter.
