About Elizabeth

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play a physical style of basketball and love to outwork my opponents on the boards and defensive end of the floor. My goal when I play a game is to not let me opponent score. I enjoy the physical nature of playing a forward position but I also have worked hard to expand and play more on the perimeter as well. Love to compete!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is to not let the person I am guarding score. I am a hard worker and will put the extra time in to make myself a better player.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am very active in many clubs in my high school. I am in national honor society, student council and quill and school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I usually lead by example. When others see how hard I work I feel that they will follow suit.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking mostly at the Junior College route due to cost but I would be open to other colleges assuming that they are affordable.

Schuster earned first team honors in the final season of the Big 7. She also was named to the Sports In Kansas second and KSHSAACovered’s honorable mention 4A teams. She brings good size to the position. Pinning defenders high while calling for the ball with her off hand Schuster catches and scores well in the paint. She effectively keeps the ball high and scores the mid-range jumper off the catch. Schuster has quick feet to go either way around the block and score in traffic but has a tendency to be right hand heavy. A better feel for her defensive and transition abilities could easily raise her standing in the next update.
