Rebounds Per Game: 7.6
Ella Subbert has been a Top Five rebounder on the EYCL 17U circuit all season long near the bucket. Subbert is a tall and talented SF, who is getting attention from all corners of the Country at this time within the recruitment process. The 17U EYCL team for AIA won this EYCL Championship a few weeks ago in Vegas so they will be grandfathered into the 17U EYBL division this week to finish their season. This is going to be a big stage for a number of prospects on this team, including Subbert. They have a number of standouts from the 2028 Class playing up a level on this 17U team and they are showing they are the real deal, no matter who is put in front of them so I can’t wait to see how they finish off their season over the next few days.

There is a world where Ella Subbert gets to the D1 level and absolutely kills it at the SF/CG spot. Subbert is naturally skilled on both sides of the rock and when you combined that with her height of 6’1 – you get a matchup that most can’t deal with at the high school levels. Subbert has been a star for her ADM High School team ever since she stepped onto the Varsity floor with them. Her steady progression up to this point in her career has been really promising and I think that’s only going to continue the more she falls in love with the process of becoming better. Don’t be shocked if you hear Subbert producing at the next level throughout her career. She checks off a lot of boxes right now and I don’t expect that to change.

Every single time a college coach texts me about Ella Subbert, it’s usually along the lines about how good she is or that she is SO good. Doesn’t matter what level that coach is from. It’s the same thing over and over, which isn’t a bad thing in any way. Subbert is a 6’1 SF with guard like abilities. She can spread the floor and her advantage with her size is noteworthy against the average competitor. This past Winter Subbert was one of the best 2028’s throughout the state of Iowa as a whole. She played both ends of the ball to a T and made the most of all of her opportunities at the end of the day. I’m not exactly sure where she will end up but she is going to have several options come June. Once coaches can contact that Class first, it’s going to be a whirlwind for hoopers like Subbert so she better strap in as that date is approaches us this week.

After another successful weekend on the road, Ella Subbert received another D1 offer and this time it was from Omaha WBB right over the state-lines in Omaha, Nebraska. Subbert has done a respectable job of holding her own, showing her worth, and making the most of her opportunities at her spot. She is a true 6’1 and she moves really well with her size. She can also spread the floor a little bit from the outside to help open things up for her teammates whenever possible. This is a nice offer to get early on during AAU season but Subbert still has a long way to go. As of right now though, she is on the right path if her goal is to play D1 Basketball at the end of her high school career.

this season. She’s a double-double threat every time she steps on the floor and she shines on both sides of the ball. Subbert is a 6’2″ sophomore forward who has been a major factor in ADM’s big second half of the season, winning 7 of their last 8. Ella is averaging 12.2 points and 8.5 boards per game this year while just recently breaking the ADM single season record for blocks (congrats, Ella). Putting up big numbers on the defensive end as well (including a 6-block game last week), I think Subbert’s best basketball is ahead of her as she leads the charge toward the State Tournament.

If you are purely looking for a prospect with height over 6’1, length, a soft touch on the ball, and some natural quickness – look no further than

of ADM High School. Subbert is a player with some D1 interest at this time and for good reason. She makes smart plays and shows a lot of effort as a SF/CG. As she has gotten older and more experienced, she has built on her game with a steady handle and efficient shooting ability within 15FT of the bucket. Lately she has been the key to a lot of ADM’s overall success over the last 1.5 years and that isn’t going to change anytime soon. This Tigers group has a 10-6 record moving into February. They aren’t in a bad spot as we look ahead to the Playoffs but they are going to have to win some games if they want to make it to DSM and the State Tournament.

is going to be the top dawg once again this Winter at ADM and I’m excited to see what they are going to be able to put together as a group. Subbert jumped onto the scene last year as a Freshman and she made her presence known as an experienced SF/CG. She played the 3 and 4 positions, rebounding consistently, scoring at a thorough rate, and defending like her life depended on it from the perimeter and in-between the blocks in the middle of the paint. All in all, Subbert showed a lot of promise over her career so far and that’s only going to grow with time/experience. She holds a few college offers at this time and she should be a staple for her team this Winter so as long as she stays mentally locked in.

EYBL. Subbert has great size at 6’1 and she is pretty mobile for that size. She can move really well, playing a mixture of a Forward and a Combo Guard right now. Her promise is what a lot of people are looking at. It’s not everyday that you see someone at this size, who can move this well down the floor throughout the entire duration of a contest. As long as she continues to build on her weaknesses within the skill side of the game moving into her next three years, she is going to be a steal for a Division-1 program somewhere out there.

of ADM is the first prospect from this varsity program that has received a D1 offer out of their 2028 Class. Subbert is a 6’1 SF with a lot of guard-like capabilities. She isn’t afraid to mix it up with anyone bigger or smaller and she is always looking for the simplest way to make an impact. She isn’t ever trying to do too much or trying to force any action within specific situations. She really lets things flow naturally and when you combined that with her mixture of size and skill, it’s impressive. Subbert recently was offered by Eastern Illinois for her first Division-1 offer. Like we always say, it might be her first but it won’t be her last.

I would say one of the more surprising prospects that the State of Iowa is going to meet this Winter is
Ella Subbert

of ADM High School. Subbert comes into her Sophomore season at 6’1 and powerful. Last year she was somewhat overshadowed by their senior leadership but that all changes over these next six months. Subbert should be the focal point of their offense moving forward. Accounting for her back to the basket ability, her natural height, and her aggressive behavior, she should feast against most other programs throughout the Winter. We will see how she adapts to this pressure. If she can slow things down and handle it calmly, that will tell us a lot about her game and what she might become down the line in the future.
