When I saw Ella play, she disrupted passing lanes, securing key steals and deflections on the defensive end. Offensively, she pushes the pace in transition, attacks the paint fearlessly, and shoots with confidence. What makes Ella stand out is her energy on both ends and her ability to maintain pace. Keep an eye out for her this season.

Ella brought a vast skillset to the weekend’s games. The ’26 versatile guard was successfully getting to her spots and was relentless attacking defenders off the bounce. Not only that, but Trefethen was a reliable perimeter outlet too as the ball was spread around on offense. What stood out was the determination she had getting into the paint though. Ella isn’t afraid of the physicality from those grueling, rugged defenders.

Ella has started off making a splash as a lead guard for Milton Academy this season. Trefethen is an offensive initiator that also shows promise on the defensive end. So far, she’s showed the ability to provide steady shooting and establishing herself as a focused lane penetrator. Ella has produced well in her first couple games for the Mustangs while playing some tough competition. Besides being a prominent factor in the offense, she gets after it on the other side of the ball too. Trefethen displays durability as fights through screens and flies to the ball. The hard work can’t be denied; she’s determined to get her hands on the ball someway.
Currently the #10-point guard in the class, Ella’s game warrants the high ranking.

Ella had a good showing at the showcase. She might not be the tallest player on the floor, but she has the ability to score over bigger defenders, and create separation. She is really improving her overall game, and becoming more comfortable being the teams leading Point Guard when on the floor. She is more assertive and playing with confidence. Lots of potential for Ella.
