Knock is a lengthy forward who can play a versatile role on a team depending what is asked of her. Her basketball ability accompanied with her length really stands out and is the reason she will be suiting up for William Jewell College next season to play ball. She is a nice weapon on the floor on the offensive end while having the advantage of being able to defend any position, 1-4 on the floor. This William Jewell team is the real deal and going to be brining in a lot of length when they tip off this upcoming winter. A good problem for the Cardinals to have looking forward. Knock will come in and work hard, looking to prove right away that she can be a player everyone on her team can trust in big moments over the next few seasons.

On the defensive end she does a good job of holding her own and matching up with one of the other teams best players. If I had to explain Knocks game I would say she is an all around play maker for her squad. She does a good job of the little things like rebounding, talking through screens, helping out her teammates, and being a positive influence whenever she is on the floor. She is going to be looked on big time to help this team return to the championship and complete the “turkey” for championships over the past three seasons. Something that is do-able and a lot of people expect at this point. I don’t know if that’s a good thing as you shouldn’t count anyone else out before it’s said and done but it’s hard not to see this group winning it all at the moment, with Knock contributing a ton.

Knock has been a coaches dream this year with the season she has been having personally and how she has been leading her Wolverines team, night in and night out. She has done a fantastic job controlling pace, being patient, and making sure everyone is aware of what is happening around them. Not too difficult of a job given the basketball IQ of her teammates and coaching staff around her is, off-the-charts. Right now Knock is averaging some solid numbers through 22 games scoring 12.1 PPG, 5 RPG, and 3.8 APG. Good numbers for anyone, especially someone in the position Knock is currently in. Leader of an almost undefeated team, a good chance at a state run again, and putting up great individual numbers. Can’t ask for much more than that from a player everyone should consider a star.

The forward/center played a pivotal rule in the success of her team during the 21′-22′ season and hopes to do the same this season as they attempt to repeat. Knock played an inside presence while averaging 10.7 PPG, 5 RPG, 1.7 APG, and 1.8 SPG during her junior year. The combination of Knock and Payton Petersen Payton Petersen 5'10" | C Dike-New Hartford | 2024 State IA as the 4 and 5 became a big advantage last winter, as the duo realized early on that most, if any, teams couldn’t guard both of them at the same time, leaving a mismatch for one of the two. This style of play made Dike-New Hartford nearly impossible to guard at the 2A level. Looking at this upcoming winter with Knock’s physicality down low and shooting capabilities, Payton Petersen Payton Petersen 5'10" | C Dike-New Hartford | 2024 State IA s all around game, and returning 2 solid shooters, the Wolverines should have a good shot of making the state tournament once again.
