About Ellie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Versatile shooting guard, reliable from the three-point line who can also take it inside and create activity, making reads and distributing from the paint. Can step in to run the offense as a pass first PG. Rallies her team and sets the tone on the defensive end.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Plays with focus and a high level of determination. Thoughtful and a competitor, she shares insights from the floor with her coaches and teammates, and is always looking for the way to a win. High energy and very engaged on the sideline, she is often on her feet from the bench and is a vocal supporter of her teammates.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Has leadership experience as an athlete, and as a Junior Year Leader at Holderness School, running a rotating serving crew for school dinners. Is a volunteer at local shelters both at school and at home. Works nearly full time hours every summer around AAU travel schedules, in agricultural retail and food service positions, serving the public.

What type of college are you looking for?

Diverse student population, not too small (after a 300 person high school!), with a strong social sciences program including Psychology and/or Outdoor Education or Leadership or related programs. Engaged student body supporting athletics and the arts.
