Elly had a weekend to remember for Michigan Storm Elite 17U at the PGH MI College Tour III. Here are some notes from the games: corner three, mid-range jumper, deep straightaway three, pinpoint accuracy, speedy finish in transition, deep wing three from the college line, controlled ball-handler, wing three, inside hand finish, and-one, and crisp kickout passes. Ella was a dynamic and exciting prospect to watch. Her standout weekend and team success resulted in an All-Tournament First Team selection.

She’s more than made a name for herself up in Northwest Ohio, as she has set the tone for being one of the best players in the state of Ohio. Scored at over 20 per game, she was a big-time three-point threat. She also became the schools all-time leading scorer. Major threat from behind the arc, excellent handles and a next-level gear.

As she continues to move up the rankings, Elly‘s game is eye-popping in Northwest Ohio. She can shoot the lights out on anyone, excellent handles, smooth with the ball. Outstanding floor leader, and she can drop them from anywhere. Opponents in NW Ohio hate the fact that they still have another year to try to defend her.

Evarts is a tear on the offensive end! She led her team in scoring in the win and couldn’t be stopped on both ends of the floor. Her 5’8″ frame as a shooting guard makes her a difficult matchup on the perimeter for opponents to guard and close out on. Evarts is a very capable ball handler and complete sniper from deep! She can makes three-pointers from all spots on the floor with her elite balance and shooting touch! Evarts is also a stellar facilitator with the ball seeing the whole floor well and getting the ball to her teammates with perfect timing.

Elly was the top player that I saw on the day. She displayed such uncanny scoring abilities that she is a player who I think will see her stock continue to rise, along with her offers. She is extremely smooth with the ball, and she is a big time playmaker! She has earned my MVP of the day!

Everytime I see this girl play, she just shines. Absolutely lights it up from anywhere, just saw her in Toledo last week and she never disappoints. This kid is super special.

One of the most complete players in the gym, she’s got several offers already from D1 schools as she looks to head into another good season. Can score from anywhere, good handles, outstanding leadership. I really love the way her game is progressing!

Elly continues to rack in the offers, and why not. Her talent is exceptional, she does so much with the basketball in her hands, including knocking down the long range threes. She has become one of the most deadly offensive players in Northwest Ohio, and she’s not stopping now! She lands at #12.

Evarts is one of the best 3 point shooters around- there’s not an ounce of hesitation in her veins, but rather ice! She is serious college material- great change in direction with the ball, and my goodness is her shooting range deep! Endless energy!
