Elynne was one of my favorite newcomers to watch at the PGH Michigan Expo. Her length/athleticism as a guard, aggressiveness, slashing to the hoop, uptempo style in transition, and ability to finish with strength in traffic were separators on the court. A confident three-level scorer, facilitator, and determined rebounder, Elynne shot up into our top 50 and looks ready for a monster sophomore campaign at Niles.

Elynne impressed me with her ability to see the floor and consistently create opportunities for the players around her. Her passing ability was at a next-level standard, as she played with her eyes up, recognized openings in the defense, and delivered the ball where her teammates could immediately make a play. She paired that vision with a strong handle, allowing her to maintain control while surveying what was developing around her. Elynne was especially effective after securing defensive rebounds, immediately getting her head up and pushing the pace while reading the floor in transition. She also knocked down shots from behind the arc, giving defenders another concern and opening additional opportunities for her to create off the dribble.

Elynne, playing on Team 3 at The Expo, impressed with her ability to see the floor and create for others. Elynne also showed she could make defenses pay from the perimeter by knocking down shots from behind the arc. She has good footwork in the paint, can spin and score, with nice soft touch at the rim. Good heady player, knows where to be. Distributes the ball well and communicates to get it back. She can play both guard spots effectively, I have her listed as a point guard today. Can explode to the rim and get downhill to score.
