Kyah was new to me this Spring, and I thought she was a highly intriguing athlete on the wing who definitely showed a lot of potential. She can get out and run in transition, she is a nice all-around athlete, plus she has a great deal of length and some wiry strength to her. She is very active and always around the ball, and she is an effective downhill attacker right now. She pursues rebounds, she’s an effortful defender, and she is good in trapping situations. As she continues to tighten her skillset and shoot it more consistently outside, she could be a problem.

Prep Girls Hoops Lead Scout

This was my first time seeing Kyah in action, and she is definitely intriguing for such a young prospect. First, she is extremely long & wiry, but she’s fluidly athletic and somewhat bouncy. She runs the outer lanes in transition well, and on the catch she is looking to break down defenders almost immediately and get into the paint. As she continues to gain strength and improve her handle, she should become a much better attacker, but she definitely stood out as someone who could have a bright future.
