An impressive 6-footer who has excellent range, Daubendiek made it easy to see why she will translate to the RMAC next year at South Dakota Mines. Finished the season with an 11.3 points per game average and was a 31% 3-point shooter on the season, while also adding 4.5 rebounds per contest. She had 12 points and five rebounds against the Bearcats and help the Crusaders to a 14-10 overall mark that saw them go 10-2 over their final 12 games.

is one of those interesting pieces at the SG spot. Not only can ED shoot the ball at a steady rate, she can also use he size and body to punish players physically by the hoop. She isn’t a post player but she knows at 6’0 where she makes her money and she just happens to be able to shoot the ball at a steady rate from distance. That’s been on display for years now if you have been paying attention on the high school floor and on the travel floor. Within her Marian system, ED should be ready for all types of buckets this Winter. There is no doubt about that.

It’s always a win when a collegiate program gets a producer at over 6’0. No matter how you phrase it. Well,

has committed to South Dakota School of Mines to kick off her college career at the next level. Daubendiek has been someone that has been consistent in rebounds, defending, and scoring when the opportunities present themselves. This really is someone that stuffs the stat sheet per se. She can have a double-double in no time if you don’t account for her on the glass or near the bucket on either end. If she plays with that tenacity for years to come, she should continue to level up as she grows in the game and in life.

Marian High School has been a topic of conversation this Winter because of the start they jumped out to and the promising underclassman that have been taking over but someone you can’t forget about is 2026 SG,

. Daubendiek is a 6’0 guard, that is a tough matchup in any situation on the floor. With her natural height at 6’0 and her ability to shoot the ball at a high rate, it’s tough for any high school to stick with her in a man2man defense. That’s been proven both at the Varsity level during the Winter and during the Spring from an AAU perspective as well. A great example of what she can do was last Friday when Marian beat Lewis Central (IA), 67-58. In the end, she recorded 17 points (7-11) and 7 rebounds. This might not be a 40 point outburst but to be able to play your role with high efficiency is what college coaches are looking for and that’s what we have here almost every night Marian takes the floor. I’m sure this Spring Daubendiek will field offers from a few different places to compete following high school but until then, she is focused with her eyes on the prize, traveling into the Post Season.

is a prospect from this group that should play their 3 or 4 position, depending on what is being asked of her. Daubendiek stands at 5’11 and she is very versatile. She can score from every level offensively, she rebounds at a high rate on both offense and defense, she can facilitate for others when overplayed, and she gets her hands on a lot of tips/defections leading into steals. With her natural length and high motor play-style, she can really do it all. It just depends on what is needed. She is coming off of a high school season to remember, so I hope that she can use this moment over the next few months on the road. If she can do that, while expanding her game to an even higher level this Spring/Summer, she is going to be a monster come this Winter for Marian High School once again.
