Kirk led Bucklin in scoring last season, averaging 18 points per game for the Red Aces. She had a junior season stat line that included averages of 4.6 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and 3.4 steals per contest. Her senior volleyball season ended with an appearance in the Class 1A DI State Tournament. She will also be looking to guide Bucklin to the state basketball tournament. Emmy Kirk is a high-volume scorer with a fearless mindset and a natural ability to put points on the board. As the offensive engine for Bucklin, Kirk has earned a reputation as a player who can take over a game with her scoring, whether from deep, in transition, or attacking the rim. Kirk’s offensive game is built around confidence and aggression. She’s a strong three-point shooter who isn’t afraid to let it fly from well beyond the arc, often forcing defenses to extend far past their comfort zone. Her quick release and deep shooting range make her a constant threat to score at any moment. When defenders close out too hard, she doesn’t hesitate to attack the lane, using a quick first step and a fearless approach to finish through contact.

Kirk enjoyed another appearance in the 1A Div II state tournament last season. The Southern Plains Iriquois Activities Association first teamer (2x) also was selected to KBCA, KSHSAA and SIK (2x) first teams following the season. A consistent floor leader and defender with a solid motor she put up more than 1,000 points in her career including 18 points per game this season. She finished with a solid 1.75 assists-to-turnovers ratio while averaging 4.6 assists and 3.4 steals. A career 34% three point shooter Kirk shot 84% from the line in 2025.
