Turkvant is a player that plays with a ton of energy and is the spark that got everyone going on Saturday. A player not afraid to get on the floor and hustle for all the loose balls. Pushes the ball well in transition which allowed for some solid transition points. Gets to spot and can pull up quickly which leaves the defense guessing how to stop her. A player that works the whole game and seems to never get tired.

Emoni Turkvant brings a combination of perimeter shooting, toughness, and basketball intelligence to the guard position. She has the ability to stretch the floor with her three-point shooting, giving her team another option to create offense from the outside. Turkvant plays with a competitive edge and shows an understanding of how to navigate the game beyond simply looking for scoring opportunities. Her toughness allows her to embrace physical matchups, while her intelligence helps her make purposeful decisions on the floor. As she continues to build on those qualities, Turkvant has the foundation to be a dependable contributor on both ends.

Emoni Turkvant 5’7 Forward Harvest Christian Academy (GA) 2028

Emoni excels in an uptempo system, where her ability to attack in transition and create downhill pressure consistently generates scoring opportunities for herself and others. She’s an aggressive slasher who finishes well through contact and thrives on momentum plays. Defensively, she’s shown a willingness to compete and take pride on that end, though she’s currently more comfortable guarding forwards than quicker, smaller guards. Emoni also rebounds well in her area, showing good instincts and effort on the glass.
