Already attracting Division I attention as a freshman, she possesses the physical tools college coaches look for on the perimeter. Chaney showed the ability to score in the lane with either hand, giving her options when attacking defenders. What stood out most at camp, however, was her rebounding and ability to immediately push the ball up the floor. That transition skill adds another dimension to her game, allowing her to turn defensive rebounds into offensive opportunities without waiting for a guard to initiate the break. With her length and developing versatility, Chaney has the tools to become a disruptive defender while continuing to expand her offensive impact.

[player_tooltip player_id='1165475' first='Jordan' last='Robinson'] | 5'9 Point Guard | Auburn | Class of 2028

[player_tooltip player_id='1165475' first='Jordan' last='Robinson'] was putting together a strong showing before a knee injury cut her day short. Her quick first step consistently created separation, allowing her to get into the lane and put pressure on the defense. Robinson showed good touch and versatility as a finisher around the basket, finding different ways to convert once she got downhill. She also displayed a willingness to make the extra pass and involve teammates, an important quality for a point guard. Her ability to create scoring opportunities without forcing the action stood out during her time on the floor. Hopefully, Robinson makes a full recovery, as her combination of downhill playmaking and scoring ability made for an encouraging evaluation.

Emoni Turkvant | 5'8 Guard | Harvester Christian | Class of 2028

Emoni Turkvant brings a combination of perimeter shooting, toughness, and basketball intelligence to the guard position. She has the ability to stretch the floor with her three-point shooting, giving her team another option to create offense from the outside. Turkvant plays with a competitive edge and shows an understanding of how to navigate the game beyond simply looking for scoring opportunities. Her toughness allows her to embrace physical matchups, while her intelligence helps her make purposeful decisions on the floor. As she continues to build on those qualities, Turkvant has the foundation to be a dependable contributor on both ends.

[player_tooltip player_id='1924913' first='Mary' last='Thornhill'] | 5'8 Guard | Chilton County | Class of 2030

[player_tooltip player_id='1924913' first='Mary' last='Thornhill'] showed a balanced offensive game, combining perimeter shooting with the ability to create opportunities for those around her. Thornhill also displayed good passing instincts, recognizing opportunities to set up teammates while remaining a threat to score herself. Her ability to create plays in both areas gives her versatility as a developing guard. Defensively, she competed and showed a willingness to engage on that end of the floor. Thornhill has a solid foundation as a guard who can contribute through shot-making, playmaking, and consistent effort.

[player_tooltip player_id='1318842' first='Campbell' last='Loftis'] | 5'5 Guard | Guntersville | Class of 2029

[player_tooltip player_id='1318842' first='Campbell' last='Loftis'] is a tough, fundamentally sound guard who understands how to make her presence felt without needing the basketball in her hands. Loftis plays with good awareness, making smart decisions and finding ways to contribute within the flow of the offense. Her toughness is equally evident on the defensive end, where she embraces the challenge of competing against opposing guards. She may not need a high volume of touches to impact the game, but her combination of shooting, decision-making, and competitive spirit gives her a valuable role to continue building on.

[player_tooltip player_id='1165325' first='Avery' last='Davis'] | 5'8 Point Guard | Mountain Brook | Class of 2028

[player_tooltip player_id='1165325' first='Avery' last='Davis'] is a true hooper who plays with the composure and poise of a well-coached point guard. Davis is an exceptional shooter and a three-level scorer who can create offense for herself without losing sight of her teammates. Her passing ability stood out, particularly her understanding of spacing, timing, and how to find teammates within the structure of the offense. She showed a natural feel for recognizing when to facilitate and when to take advantage of scoring opportunities presented by the defense. Davis has the rare combination of shot-making, playmaking, and basketball IQ that allows a point guard to influence the game without needing to dominate the ball.

[player_tooltip player_id='381325' first='Mylie' last='Butler'] | 5'8 Point Guard | Albertville | Class of 2027

[player_tooltip player_id='381325' first='Mylie' last='Butler'] arrived at camp looking every bit the college prospect, showcasing added strength and a more creative handle that allowed her to generate separation from defenders. A three-level scorer with exceptional shooting ability, Butler demonstrated that she can hurt defenses off the dribble, off movement, and by attacking closeouts. Her strength stood out when finishing through contact, allowing her to remain effective around the basket even when defenders challenged her physically. Defensively, she showed good anticipation in the passing lanes and a willingness to apply disruptive on-ball pressure. Butler had little to gain from another camp appearance, but she still embraced the opportunity to compete and put her development on display. East Carolina is getting a guard who can create her own offense, play within a system, and impact both ends of the floor.
