The Bowdoin College commit has been an immovable force this season. Eva is a prime defender with superior traits that easily make a difference. She sets the tone early on with lively activity. Eva is widely known to be all gas on this side of the ball. It’s not easy to get to 700 rebounds and 200 blocks. That should speak volumes to her capabilities.

Eva was a strong presence in the paint for Needham. She worked for post position and scored mostly on post touches, offensive rebounds, and finishes in the paint. Defensively, she took up space and moved well, with one play standing out where she forced a deflection and then recorded a block on the same possession.

Eva shows a soft touch around the basket and makes her presence felt defensively in the paint. She’s capable of spacing the floor, knocking down mid-range shots with confidence to keep defenses honest. Eva’s unselfishness stands out as she draws defenders in and then finds open teammates for clean looks. She’s also a strong rebounder who boxes out aggressively and battles hard for every loose ball.

Eva is a strong prospect whose game stands out. She had a standout 24-rebound performance vs. Brookline and totaled 15 games with double-digit boards during the 2024–25 season. She averaged 11.2 rebounds, 7.1 points, 2.3 blocks, and 1.2 assists during the season.
Eva’s value goes beyond stats. Eva understands spacing and shows a mature feel for timing, especially when it comes to rebounding and defense. Defensively, she uses her length and IQ to be in the right spot—whether it’s boxing out, contesting, or rotating early. On offense, she’s unselfish and fundamentally sound, with soft hands and good touch around the basket.

Eva is a utilitarian type of player that goes above and beyond her positional duties while typically taking advantage of her individual matchups. Although she isn’t the highest of scorers in the region, Eva makes up for that by securing extra possessions as well as keeping possessions alive for her team. She fights for space early, making her job a lot easier when a shot goes up. Eva has quick reactionary skills, so she’ll swiftly snag the board before opponents even have an idea of where the ball is going to land. When her number is called in the post as a scoring option, Andrew’s exploits bigs with over the shoulder jump-hooks that are incredibly hard to guard. February’s state rankings have Needham in the top 15 in Division 1 and Eva is a huge factor in that positioning.

Eva had herself a monster performance, especially on the boards the other night in the game vs Brookline. Eva made her presence known by continuously giving her team extra possessions offensively and snagging the defensive rebounds that were essential in this tight game. Andrews is a staple down low with her straightforward, yet efficient style of play. Eva has a nose for the ball and when combined with her ability find the best positioning to seek the ball, it makes her a tough assignment on any given night.
