About Eva

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

What separates me from my competition is my overall skill level coupled with my competitiveness and drive to be the best. I absolutely love getting my teammates involved and though I can score from inside or out, I get just as much pleasure out of setting my teammates up. I also love defending the opposing team's top player.  I pride myself in being relentless on both ends of the floor.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm a very passionate and loyal person. I'll do anything for my teammates and those that I care about. I'm very goal driven, and when I have my mind set on accomplishing something, I go all in on that goal. Though very focused, still enjoy relaxing and having fun with my friends.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I know injuries are a part of sports, however I'd say a huge challenge I faced was when I broke my ankle in 6th grade. Having the game of basketball taken away from me for 8 weeks was very difficult to handle. Though at the time, I didn't understand why, I was able to pull so many positives that came from that experience that have made me a better player and person today.

What type of college are you looking for?

It's been my goal to play Division 1 basketball since 4th grade. I'm going to continue to work as hard as I possibly can to make that dream a reality. I'd be interested in any school where the coaches believe in me, is a good fit for my style of play and also has a clear academic path to reach my professional goals after college.

I came away impressed with Eva’s all-around game as she made my list of “Top Players” at The Expo. Known for being a great ball handler you tend to forget how good of a three-point shooter that she is. Needing to respect her speed/quickness combo, she does an excellent job of getting the defense on their heels but lethal when given any space to shoot her smooth lefty jumper. She knocked down several threes, in each game I watched, and looks more than ready to make up for a lost freshman season!
