Player Bio

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play mostly as a power forward and step up as a center when needed. I focus on getting offensive rebounds, then going back up with a shot. I also work on defensive rebounds to move the ball back to our side of the court. Offensively, I work the paint to get open for strong post moves, hoping to be fouled for the extra free shots. I am strong off the backboard and mid-range shooting.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I keep a team-first mentality for every game. I maintain a calm yet confident attitude so I can lead my team by example. I stay composed under pressure when I make mistakes. I also lift up my teammates with encouragement when they make mistakes.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have been involved in a Latin club and received rewards for doing well on the National Latin Exam for 3 years in a row. I have received about 18 dual credits for college courses.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Throughout high school, I have worked part-time and participated in varsity sports. I am a certified lifeguard. I have been a waitress for a couple of years. I currently work as a barista.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

After having ACL and medial meniscus surgery at the start of my junior year season, followed by lateral meniscus surgery at the beginning of my senior year, the battle weighed heavy on me from immense physical and mental challenges. Despite the setbacks, for the love of the game, I became more driven to push through the grueling recovery process twice.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a conservative Christian college at the D2 level to play basketball and work on my Kinesiology degree. It would be nice to find a college that also has the PT doctor program since I will be transferring several dual credit courses but would like to play for 4 years at college.
