Webster City’s Evie Davis is a star within her own community as a Power Forward/Center on the basketball court. Davis is a hooper that has averaged impressive numbers over the years. She has averaged a double-double in points-rebounds ever since I can remember and that should be the case for her next two seasons as well if all goes to plan. This is a 6’1 prospect that mainly moves between the blocks. She is very able with her back to the basket against smaller matchups. There aren’t many times where we see Davis undersized against someone bigger. When that does finally happen, I’m sure she will move right around them for simple looks here and there offensively. All in all – Davis has been a 2028 to know for years now for recruiters out of the Midwest. She plays some nice basketball and that’s only going to get better with playing more as she continues to grow up.

We had a chance earlier this Fall to highlight Evie Davis of Webster City High School and here she is again. Davis brings something to the floor that most others do not and that is height standing between 6’1 and 6’2. This height lets her destroy her competition near the bucket a majority of the time. We haven’t had the chance to see Davis against any other big powerhouse Post prospects yet. Every time she competes against someone near her height, they cannot keep up with her and that speaks to how well she can move down the court so it’ll be interesting to see what else she can put together down the line but for now – this is definitely someone to note as we move into this Winter.

You can’t mention Webster City without mentioning their monster in the middle, Evie Davis. Davis, the 6’1 Center, is one of those players that you need to know about if you face off against this program on a regular basis. 6’1 at the girls level is nothing to joke about and when you pair that with some ambition, it can go a long way. I know this article is all about stepping up and helping in different ways than scoring but I would be concerned if Davis wasn’t averaged 10 PPG against her competition level. She is doing that (14.4) so it’s nothing to worry about but just so it is noted. She also averaged over 10 RPG and she showed up in the blocked/altered shots department as much as you might of imagined. All in all, Davis is someone to keep an eye on this Winter. She might have some noteworthy stat-lines at the end of the day if opponents don’t take them seriously enough.
