Gilmore thrived in the departments of Scoring and Rebounding as a Junior at Hampton High School last Winter and I expect that tread to continue this season. Gilmore might only stand at 5’9 but she is tough to match against with her mixture of agile movement, athletic ability, and awareness out on the floor. Honestly, over the past three seasons, Gilmore has been a constant in these categories on her team and within her conference. She has always been a tough player to match with and to plan against, from an opposing player perspective and that shouldn’t change over the next six months.

It’s fair to say that Gavin Gilmore Gavin Gilmore 5'9" | SF Hampton | 2025 NE is an undersized Forward, that does a fantastic job of controlling the painted area. It doesn’t matter if it’s on offense or defense, Gilmore is relentless in her pursuit of the basketball and that leads her to a lot of success in the grand scheme of things. Each contest at Hampton High School, she gets multiple Rebounds, she gets buckets by the rim in a plethora of different ways with her ability to adapt, and she gets her hands on tips/deflections at a stead rate. This Winter, Hampton will look once again to Gilmore to be their inside presence. She has demonstrated that she is their anchor in a lot of ways so hopefully they can keep that rolling!

Gavin Gilmore Gavin Gilmore 5'9" | SF Hampton | 2025 NE was a major rebounder on the defensive side of the ball last Winter, grabbing 11.1 RPG throughout her 21 game season. This Winter at Hampton, Gilmore will be called upon once again to be their anchor in the middle as she defends, rebounds, and manages the middle. Along with her 11.1 RPG, she also averaged double-digits in Scoring with a solid number in the Assist and Steals. She is someone that demonstrates a versatile play-style with her mixture of length and agile movement. So it’ll be fun to see what see what she can do for her last go around this upcoming Winter.
