Wichmann is a strong imposing force who can do it all on the basketball court! The Loyola Chicago commit finished with seven points and eight boards in the game versus Milford. Gemma shows she is capable of bringing the ball up the floor at 6 feet and attacking downhill at the rim as a small forward. I’ve been really impressed with her ability to dominate her matchups in the post, winning them and scoring under control with ease! Wichmann is going to be elite at the college level in due time just as she has been at Magnificat for the Blue Streaks!

She is so powerful when catching the ball on the block- able to go left or right, and she goes through whoever’s guarding her! And lets just say any time Gemma has the ball, she draws a crowd, as seen in the picture below!

Her vertical, height, and athleticism make it hard to keep her out of the paint to score, and she rebounds the ball efficiently, always puts a body on someone. She gets physical during transition, knows her position and where to be at all times, and takes off quickly to score on fastbreaks! Stops the ball as well when the opposing teams tries to take off to score. Moving up to number 27 from number 34. Offers including Army, Wright State, NKU.

Her vertical, height, and athleticism make it difficult to keep her out of the paint so she can score, and she rebounds the ball efficiently. She moves rapidly to score on fast breaks during transition, gets physical on the low block and is very patient with the ball. She handles the rock with composure and sees the next open pass. She has offers from Bowling Green and NKU. She moves from number 48 to number 34 in the rankings.

Rebounds the ball well, and with her vertical, height, and athleticism, she is tough to keep out of the lane for shots! She takes off for the races on transition, plays physical, and knows her role!
