Georgia Jones Georgia Jones 5'9" | SG/PG Spotswood | 2028 State VA is an off guard who shoots just under 40 percent from beyond the arc. Naturally, that efficiency forces defenses to extend whenever she is on the floor. While Jones has the green light, she understands her shooting gravity creates opportunities elsewhere. She frequently draws defenders outside before feeding the post or continuing the offense for better opportunities.

Additionally, Jones can play and defend positions one through three. Over the past two seasons, she has steadily developed while her overall game continues maturing. Consequently, Jones has emerged as one of the Shenandoah Valley’s most talented players. Her combination of shooting, versatility, and improving decision-making gives her considerable value on both ends.

With graduation reshaping the roster, Jones now has an opportunity to assume a larger leadership role. This season belongs to her. Expect Jones to establish herself among Virginia’s best players in the Class of 2028.

Jones has been one of the most consistently developing players during her first two high school seasons. Consequently, her junior year could be a breakout campaign. Possessing a blue-collar mentality, Jones embraces tough assignments. Whether pressuring ball handlers or diving for loose balls, she impacts winning.

With key graduations behind her, Jones will assume a larger leadership role. Additionally, she provides energy and consistency on both ends. Offensively, Jones thrives with the ball on the wing. She can score from three, the midrange, or by attacking downhill. Meanwhile, her perimeter defense continues to evolve. As a result, Jones is poised for a strong 2026-27 season.
