Giada Lanni Giada Lanni 5'8" | SF Shaker | 2027 State NY is the 21st-ranked player in the group, but like her sister, recently announced she will transfer to a powerful prep program, Hoosac School, and reclassify to 2028. Giada’s game is very similar to Sofia’s. She is a three-level scorer with an outstanding shooting touch from downtown, the mid-range, or around the hoop. She beats defenders off the dribble with both her right and left hands. Giada runs the floor well to finish in transition and has the strength to muscle through contact. She has tremendous court vision and a strong understanding of the game. Giada is strong on the offensive boards, where she picks up points off putbacks. She is also a factor on the defensive end.

Lanni is a shooter with fluid mechanics and a quick release. She has range and isn’t afraid to step into her shot, making tough shots look easy. Runs the floor hard in transition. What stands out beyond the skill is the confidence. She is versatile and can guard multiple positions. Defensively, she is a good 1v1 defender, she has great lateral footwork, active hands, good instincts, and plays with intensity trying to contest shots.

Lanni is fundamentally sound- she finds paths to the basket, has a nice mid range jumper. Love how she distributes the ball, and makes strong decisions in both the half court offense and fast breaks. Takes care of the rock!
