Gianna began her career at Guerin Catholic High School but this past year she enrolled at Bishop Chatard. Before Christmas came, she and her sister (below) were on the move to Noblesville. Gianna did not play any games for the Lady Millers this year but look for her to make an immediate impact in 2026-2027. She has good size, strength, but also nice face-up skill, with the ability to stretch her range to the 3-point line. With several top players graduating the last couple of years and a new coach entering the fold, this coming season should be an interesting one for the Millers.

gives Noblesville size, length, and interior presence in the frontcourt. She continues developing into a dependable center capable of impacting games with rebounding, rim protection, and physicality inside. Morelli plays with good effort around the basket and has shown flashes offensively as she continues refining her post game.
Her size alone creates matchup problems, but what stands out most is her willingness to compete in the paint. She battles on the glass, protects the rim, and gives Noblesville an important interior anchor. June ball will be valuable for her development as she gains more confidence offensively and continues adjusting to higher-level competition. As her skill set expands, she has the potential to become a major frontcourt contributor moving forward.

I had not been able to see Gianna live in-person in a little over a year and a half because of injury issues. But Friday she was present, and she looks like she is rounding back into form nicely. Gianna looks leaner, longer, and more fluid. She was always a post with some face-up skill and a good understanding of the game. Now, building that core strength and making up for lost time with skill development should help her catch back up quickly.

I saw Gianna for the first time last June, and she flashed a great deal of potential. She did the same at times throughout the 2023-2024 season for Guerin Catholic (she has since transferred to Bishop Chatard). She has good size, she’s able to score around the block and has a solid array of post skill, plus she has nice skill facing the basket in the mid-post. Playing with a Cincinnati-based grassroots team, it’s been tough to see them at times this Spring, so I’m anxious to see her again this week.
