About Goda

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am long, lengthy and tall and i use my size and strength to my advantage in the game. I try to be leader and easy get along with all teammates and coaches. Try to be leader and lift everyone spirits with enthusiasm and positive attitude.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I retentively workout with my sister on getting better and have work ethic and epitome of dedication and stay positive all time. Try to be confident and leader on basketball court and in life.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

2021-2024 played volleyball and basketball at school. In 2022 our school team earned 8th place in 4A IESA Tournament. 2023/2024 year as 8th grader i was invited and joined Honors Society at Homer Junior High school. 2023 December i was invited to represent my HJH school at Illinois All - State Junior High Classic event in Peoria IL. From 2013 i go Saturday to Lithuanian school .

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I done a lot of community service hours so far. Last couple summers I volunteered with Art camp kids. Showed them leadership and we worked as a team to make some project done. Stayed positive and encouraged them to get better and try new things and never give up even if they fail.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Realizing and overcoming a flaw in my character. I am working on getting better communicator and leader in life and on court.

What type of college are you looking for?

I see myself and mid-size University, hopefully Division 2/3 in NCAA conference. Also, I want to study Physical Therapy program that would make biggest decision of college were I will go. I would like to have good PT program there. Good teammates and good coaching staff too because I would like to play basketball and study PT.

The Lockport product is off to a great start to her AAU season. Goda played with confidence throughout the weekend, and whenever she had the ball in her hands, she was clearly in attack mode. She did a nice job using a hesitation move to create angles and get downhill to the rim. While her overall game was impressive, her shooting ability really stood out. Goda knocked down threes both off the catch and off the dribble, making her a constant offensive threat. Her ability to space the floor also had a major impact, as help-side defenders often looked hesitant to fully commit because they didn’t want to leave her open. I expect Goda to receive a lot of attention this spring and summer because she looks ready to make a big-time impact.
