About Grace
Expert Analysis
Kiyoshi Fish | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Grace plays with intensity and has a strong presence on the court. She is a solid rebounder who seems to know where the ball is at all times. What I like about Grace is how physical she is. Grace uses her toughness to battle inside and impact the game. Grace is currently Basha’s leading scorer with 1,547 points.

Grace came ready. As Basha eyes a deep Open Division run, their senior forward delivered a steady performance. She was a beast on the boards as usual as she finished with15 points and 13 rebounds. She scored in a variety of ways — inside touches, transition opportunities, and strong finishes around the rim. Her presence around the basket gave Basha extra possessions and momentum-shifting plays.

Beckler was living in the paint during the summer, and it wasn’t much opponents could do about it. She did a great job of sealing and pinning the defender. She also stepped out and showed that she could hit the perimeter shot when needed. She collected a few offers as of late, with more to come, I’m sure.

Beckler plays with a high motor and she was showing that on both end of the ball. Her ability to track rebounds, defend and be a two player was impressive as you can see she is just scratching the surface of her play.

Beckler has a motor that won’t stop, and it showed in her production. She finished well around the rim and passed well from the high and low post. She also rebounded well, and a few times initiated the break as a ballhandler.

Beckler has quietly been putting opposing teams on notice that she is a force to be reckoned with. She is already one of the best rebounders in the state regardless of class. Now her offensive game has begun to take off. She battles in the post, shoots the mid-range and will occasionally step out and hit the three.
