Reynolds continues to prove she’s built for big moments. The sophomore forward played an outstanding two-way game, accepting the challenge of guarding one of the state’s best scoring guards and doing more than just holding her own. She competed possession after possession, used her length well, and didn’t shy away from physical play. Amira finished with 14 points, 13 rebounds and 3 steals. She scored within the flow, attacked when lanes opened up, and cleaned up second-chance opportunities on the glass.

Amira is a player impacting both sides of the courts. She is a strong and physical player that takes pride in defending. Her match ups aren’t always easier but she steps up and takes care of business. Defending the paint of guarding out near the premier she can do it all. Add that to her ability to finish at the rim and she is a real impact player.

Reynolds is one of the most quietly productive young players in the class. She impacts the game without needing plays drawn for her — rebounding, switching defensively, helping, recovering, and making winning plays. She guards multiple positions and has the physicality to handle bigger bodies. A true “do-the-dirty-work” prospect every team needs.

Reynolds continues to build momentum from her strong summer showing. She’s a versatile, two-way forward who does all the little things that don’t always show up on the stat sheet — boxing out, rotating on defense, setting good screens, and being in the right place at the right time. Her energy and instincts make her a glue player that every team needs.

Versatility is the name of the game for this young hooper. I watched her guard almost every position on the court on the EYBL circuit and do it well. Her rebounding is at a high level as well. Her numbers don’t always show her value, but opponents definitely feel her presence.
