After covering her for the last couple years, I finally got to see her in person as her high school team competed in the state final four this year. An impressive player who doesn’t draw all the glitz and glamour, she is just a productive player who has a lot of tools that she can utilize to be successful. Love her court vision as she gets everyone involved.

Finefrock, who led the team this season with 13.8 PPG, and also averaged 6.1 RPG, and 2.5 APG, reads the defense well, and can see the open look within a split second! I like how she keeps her dribble alive- she plays smart basketball/ strong IQ. She’s a next level player! (Below on defense)

The #5 junior point guard in her class just had a stellar regular season for the Crusaders! Grace Finefrock Grace Finefrock 5'6" | PG Canton Central Catholic | 2027 State OH is a high energy point guard who can find her teammates and set up the offense with ease. She can finish at the rim and make difficult shots look elementary on the floor! Finefrock isn’t afraid of the big moment as a junior. She and Canton Central Catholic are looking forward to having a huge postseason run as the #2 seed!

She’s a very fluid player on the floor, she does a lot of the little things to be successful. But she’s also capable of doing the big things, like scoring and defending. She’s on circuit this summer with MAC basketball so she’s gonna get opportunities to keep getting better. Grace has really put together a very strong junior season and I really look forward to seeing what she does as a senior!

Finefrock is the type of point guard that does things that flat out lead to winning! She is a great floor general and facilitator in the halfcourt. Seeing plays before they happen, she get the ball where it needs to go before the defense can set up. Finefrock is a elite interior scorer and finisher through contact. Her size and quickness allow her to push the ball ahead in transition getting the ball quickly to open shooters. Finefrock does everything you need to be a winning team when the game is on the line. She is a large reason Canton Central Catholic has had such a successful 2025-26 season so far!

Grace has a big time ability to score, can knock them down from behind the arc, bounces off screens and is a great catch-and-shoot player. Defensively, she can attack the ball, pressure and force mistakes, allowing her team to capitalize.

Grace flat out doesn’t make silly mistakes! She plays smart, under control, and has a great sense of knowing when and where to shoot! Controls the tempo of the game! Lethal from 3 point land! (Below with ball)

Grace is having another steady year as she moves up to #24 in the latest update. She is averaging a very solid 15 points per game this year with dishing out 4 assists with 3 steals per game. She is a very locked in defender and sees the floor very well. Love her perimeter game and when she gets downhill there is no stopping her.
