CLASS 4A MVP: Gracyn seemed to be everywhere at times Saturday night, and I’m sure it caused Norwell to shake their heads wondering how to find her earlier in possessions and limit her. She was great offensively & defensively, and when it mattered down the stretch, she made big shots and knocked down 2 free throws with 12 seconds left for their final points. In total, Gracyn scored 23 points, she was 9-for-10 from the charity stripe, plus she added 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 6 steals, and a blocked shot to her performance.

I am extremely excited to see Gracyn match up against Rosswurm (above) tonight in the Class 4A game. Gracyn is another tremendous athlete with a great motor. She possesses a versatile, all-around skillset, to where she can play a point guard role, she can act as a shooter/wing scorer, and she’s strong & athletic enough to operate in the mid-post. She currently sits at 1875 points, 429 rebounds, and 330 steals for her career. As a Senior, she has helped Center Grove to a 28-0 record thus far behind 25.7 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.5 steals per game, while shooting 53% from the field.

The head-to-head matchup between Center Grove and Norwell pits two of the best wings in Indiana’s 2026 class against each other. Gracyn is a talented athlete; she has four years of not only starting but also starring in her roles at Munster & Center Grove. And for as much as she stands out as an athlete, I think her pure skill and understanding of the game get lost. She sees the floor extremely well, she’s an accurate and on-time passer, and she has continued to develop a consistent jump-shot as well. If the Trojans can find her in the middle of Norwell’s zone, she could be a problem.

continues to dominate in her senior year, going into semi-state averaging 26.3 on 54% shooting, an 8-point jump from last year. Gracyn is headed to Davidson College this year, having grown significantly in her game over the years, and looks to continue a successful collegiate career.

Gracyn has had a fantastic Senior season, and she has helped the Trojans to a perfect 25-0 record thus far and a Sectional title. Her Freshman & Sophomore years, she spent at Munster, and the Mustangs didn’t win a Sectional title. Last year as a Junior, Center Grove fell in the Sectional as well. She’ll need a continued postseason run to really help her build that team resume most prospects have, plus she is up against 3 others on this list from Central Indiana who could all split a big portion of the vote. Regardless, she is a strong, tough-nosed, versatile wing who can play every role from point guard to power forward, and she has scored 1800+ points, hauled in 400+ rebounds, and collected 300+ steals throughout her career.

Speaking of versatility, Gracyn is right there with Mollie in that category. In fact, while I’m not sure she would need to handle the ball much with this team, Gracyn is a talented passer with very good vision. This season, she has helped the Lady Trojans to an undefeated regular season and a Top 5 ranking in both statewide polls. This strong and very athletic wing is also averaging 26.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 2.5 steals per game, while shooting an impressive 43% (46-107) from 3-point range. She doesn’t back down from anyone, and she is committed to Davidson College, where she could take the Atlantic 10 by storm next year.
