Expert Analysis
Brandon Bradley | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Avalee is looking to carve out a niche this season for a young but reloading Center Grove squad. She has broad shoulders and good strength, some length, and she’s a solid all-around athlete in most directions. She also possesses skill at all three levels, so she can play around the perimeter comfortably, but she isn’t afraid of contact when rebounding/defending inside either. While she didn’t see any Varsity action last Winter, she did see a little bit throughout June this year. On a team short on size, she could provide some interior play.

One of the hardest workers I saw the entire day, she continued to scrap, got on the floor and just made things happen. Physical play did not seem to bother her as she did a nice job in the paint. Also on the perimeter, she’s a threat as she has confidence enough to shoot the ball from anywhere around the arc. Just a solid complete prospect.

Very good shooting touch from the 3 on the break. Poised and a very smooth shot. Impressive on her north south game transition. Good court vision. She’s the one that should continue to rise with great work.
