She is an average-sized guard for Class B but possesses good speed and instincts. I like how she isn't fazed by full-court pressure. This type of calm demeaner at a young age makes me think that Sienna is going to be an excellent high school point guard.

Becca is a guard who will be a great addition to a talented Patriots squad. She got into 14 games last year as a freshman. This impresses me because of how talented Century is at the guard position. She is a smooth player who has great athleticism and quickness. She has a nice shooting motion and can knock down the three. Becca is going to be a excellent player to help push the more established varsity players. She just might catch them at some point.

Shumaker is going to be a very good high school player. She battled some injuries last season that set her back a little but she was able to persevere and get back into the varsity rotation. She played well towards the end of the season and helped Bismarck Legacy to a 16-11 overall record and a 5th place finish at the state tournament. Hadley is a natural athlete on the floor and extremely quick and shifty. She has the ball on a string and doesn't make many mistakes. She knew her role last season and played it well. I believe she is going to be fighting for big minutes in 2026-2027.

Avery is someone that Fargo North is excited about. She has big-time potential and a committed work ethic. She started last season as primarily a JV player but continued to grind and worked her way into playing two halves of varsity by the end of the season. She played her best in North's EDC game against West Fargo where she led the Spartans in scoring, steals, and assists. I visited with Coach Baarstad about Avery and here is what he had to say: "Avery is going to be an impact player for us this year playing primarily at the point guard position. She does a good job at getting the flow of the offense going. She is a great on-ball defender and communicator on the floor. She is a hard-nosed player that will do what is asked."

Maggie has a chance to be an exceptional high school player. She is a terrific athlete and has a tremendous work ethic. She does a great job of utilizing her athletic ability during contests to her advantage. She is a really good defensive player, particularly when she is guarding the ball. Opponents really have a hard time driving past Maggie. She has a great feel for the game as well. She sees gaps and advantages and feeds her teammates the ball accordingly. She continues to gain confidence in her shot and should be a quality shooter by the time her high school career is done.

Rhen is a player with a lot of potential. She is someone I could see coming off of the bench and playing some spot minutes for Sheyenne next season. Kiefer is a strong athlete with a quick first step. I appreciate her attitude and willingness to get into the gym and improve. Look for her to start making some noise next season for the Mustangs.

Ganske is another athlete with a terrific work ethic. She sprints up the lanes wide in transition once her team secures the board. In the half court, Mya will look to move the ball to open teammates, cut to the basket to create movement, and find gaps to create easy scoring options. Langdon Area/Munich was a very young squad last season. They are going to be really good for the coming seasons with returning players like Mya.

Ganske is another athlete with a terrific work ethic. She spends a lot of time in the offseason doing individual lessons and working on her skills. She is a fantastic listener and eager to improve. I have seen her shooting get significantly better this past season. She has put in a ton of effort and has really improved her consistency, rotation, arc, and release. Shooting is such an important skill in basketball and Brooklyn's focus towards that skill is something I appreciate. Finally, she is a tough and physical player around the rim.
