Mayo is most likely a player that’ll climb the ranks in the upcoming update. She was a main staple for the CT Starters and they played through the skilled big. Not only is Mayo tall, but she’s incredibly strong. Typically, someone so stout wouldn’t have touch, but that’s where Hailey proves to be different. She can knock the long midrange down consistently, finishes well around the rim and has impressive vison for the position. The interior defense provided is resolute is well. Her proximity within the paint is quite intimidating. #106 is too low right now.

Hailey was an absolute physical presence in the post ffor CT Starters against LI Renegades. She showed good hands whether it was on the glass or taking in post entry passes. She was able to use her height and strength to create space and finish over defenders on the block.

A big that’s well-equipped to be productive while helping elevating lineups she’s incorporated. Mayo is a big that’s going to start receiving more attention.

Sophomore forward Hailey Mayo Hailey Mayo 6'1" | PF/C Coventry | 2028 State New E is an emerging star with a bright future. Despite her age, she shows advanced instincts for scoring and rebounding. Mayo’s ability to stretch the floor with mid-range shooting adds a dynamic element to Coventry’s offense. Defensively, she uses her length and and anticipation to disrupt passing lanes and contest shots. Her athleticism allows her to run the floor in transition and finish strong at the rim. As a sophomore, Mayo has plenty of room to grow, but she already contributes significantly to her teams success. Her combination of skill, size, and potential makes her one of the most intriguing forward in the state.

Hailey led Coventry to its first state title since 1988. The freshman big put up 18 points and added 17 boards in this championship game. This double-double performance on the big stage will be one to remember. Mayo is certainly a young player that has a budding future in CT hoops.
