Vesey is holding her own against some stiff competition. In Sabrina’s last game she had 15 points; she served as a considerable influence while only being a freshman. Alot of times, the lights can be a bit too bright for young players receiving big minutes. That’s not the case here with Vesey though. She’s poised and plays like an experienced upperclassman, consistently making the right reads. Her facilitation skills, plus the ability to put points on the board are incredibly valuable.

BCRI has a fantastic program and they’ve been raving about Vesey for some time now. She’s a point guard with exceptional speed and turns the corner with a real purpose. Sabrina knows her spots, but she isn’t going to force much. Many players with her capabilities, particularly getting behind the defense can struggle with high turnovers, but that’s not Sabrina. She’s ranked #24 overall and the 3rd pg in the class.

A natural playmaker and one with superior speed to blaze by defenders. The production from this young guard is unmatched. She’s protective over the ball, keeping those pesty players guarding out of her space so she can dissect the defense. Vesey is a significant talent that can easily affect the game. She plays well above her age bracket and this makes her a very distinctive prospect that’ll be a determining factor for her squad.

It’s rare to see a 2029 player be so effective while heavily contributing to winning basketball, but Vesey does this consistently. She’s been positionally outperforming many of her peers with her stellar performances. Sabrina is a prudent creator which allows her the ability to get to her spots regardless of the resistance from the defense. Her blazing footspeed makes it easy for her to turn the corner on those guarding her. Vesey is able to craft sure takes to the basket and understands the best places to have influence from. Best of all, Sabrina is efficient with the ball in her hands. She’s also getting the job done on defensive side too. The ’29 guard incites her teammates’ aggressive play in pivotal moments of the game after creating turnover opportunities. This is a player that’ll foster a hostile environment for ballhandlers if they aren’t prepared for quick hands and feet. Without a doubt, Vesey is a name to keep an eye out for.

An instant impact point guard that’ll carry the torch within a very talented BCRI club for a long time. Vesey is young, but her game is mature. The ’29 rising star has a knack for getting deep penetration that demands the defense’s attention. She puts pressure on defenders from crafted takes off the bounce and keeps aggressive players at bay with a plethora of counters. Sabina can finish a bunch of ways from various levels on the floor. In addition, her speed makes it hard to fully contain her in tight spaces. Her decisive decision-making can also throw those guarding her for a loop if they think they’ve got a good grasp on her. She can operate in screen actions and has also shown the ability to keep players in “jail”, a trait that most ’29 players don’t have in their skillset just yet. There’re so many bright areas to her game, it’ll be exciting to see Vesey’s development through the rest of the season. BCRI has a good one on their hands.

Theres not many 2029 players that could last on the floor for significant minutes against 17u, nevermind being highly productive. Vesey looked like one of the brightest young prospects around, even commanding looks from next level coaches. Sabrina is certainly a player to know from this point forward.

This weekend she was dazzling and an absolute difference maker for BCRI when she was playing up. Sabrina led the team in assists in both games. The first game her stats were remarkable; 16 pts, 7 ast, plus 4 stl. She has a nice feel for the game even though she’s young. The ’29 pg seemingly has a knack for making the defense pay. Vesey carves lanes for self, requiring the help to step up and capitalizing on the mistakes from those guarding her. Too much space and she’ll take the open shot, but if crowed, she’s certain to blow by them swiftly. She makes fair assessments on the fly and evenly distributes the ball around the court. What really stands out about Sabrina’s game though is the explosion getting to the rim; Vesey turns on the jets quickly, blowing by initial defenders in a heartbeat. Not only an offensive threat, but she also moves her feet exceptionally well and can keep up with just about anyone on the floor. In addition, her lateral quickness is enough to make any defensive enthusiast do a doubletake. This is one of the more impressive 8th graders watched this AAU season.
