Halle Collins Halle Collins 5'11" | SF Knox Central | 2025 State KY capped off her decorated high school career by leading Knox Central to an impressive 25-5 season. She played a crucial role in them winning the 51st district title for the fourth year in a row and advancing to the 13th Region semifinals. The University of Pikeville signee averaged 19.7 points per game and finished as one of the top rebounders in the state with 13.5 per game. Halle made history becoming the 13th Region’s all-time leading rebounder and joined elite company by becoming just the fifth girl in Kentucky high school history to surpass 3,000 career points and 1,500 career rebounds. She holds the Knox Central rebounding record with 1,712 rebounds and sits second all-time in scoring with 3,141 points. Halle will go down as one of the best players to ever come through Knox Central and the 13th Region.

Halle made her presence felt on both ends of the court. I like how she was disciplined enough to wall up on defense to stay out of foul trouble. She got going offensively in the second quarter with a tough scoop layup, then went coast to coast with the ball and demonstrated a sick behind the back crossover that led to a basket and the foul. Halle kept her foot on the gas in the second half and came away with a couple steals and showed off some incredible turn around jumpers in the post. She enters her senior season with 2,000 career points and has a chance to reach 1,000 career rebounds.

So versatile and strong. Excellent rebounder who will do whatever it takes to come up with ball. Can play inside or out offensively and can guard multiple positions as well. Consistently finished tough at the rim. Didn’t force and was smart about the shots she took.

Not having as many GBB reporters in her area, Collins does not always get the recognition she deserves on the state-wide level for what she brings to the floor, but it is truly special. She finished her sophomore season as the state’s 3rd leading scorer (27.1 PPG) and 2nd leading rebounder (14.4 RPG). She also finished the season with the 27th best field goal percentage in the state (55.6%) and with a top 50 free throw percentage (76.8%).

Collins just keeps growing her game and should continue garnering P5 interest/offers. She can score inside or out, she’s extremely strong, and she just has a knack for the ball.
