was one of the most versatile young players in the building. Her poise and basketball IQ really stood out, and she found ways to make plays all over the court. Warren displayed excellent court vision, delivering some impressive dimes to cutting wings while also playing in sync with the forwards on the inside. She penetrated effectively, created opportunities for herself and others, and was especially impressive in transition- whether filling the lane, catching the full-court pass, or taking it coast to coast and finishing. Her ability to see the floor, make the right read, and contribute in multiple ways made Warren one of the more complete young players at the showcase.
Hayden’s impact starts with her length, motor, and willingness to compete. She consistently defended with energy, made things difficult on opponents, and found ways to affect the game. What stood out most was her work on the offensive glass, where she repeatedly kept possessions alive and created extra opportunities for her team through hustle and effort. Those winning plays often go unnoticed, but they can be invaluable for successful programs like Bolles. As she steps into a larger role for one of the most competitive teams in the state, her ability to bring toughness, defensive intensity, and complementary production should become even more important. It’ll be exciting to see how her responsibilities expand and how she responds to the increased opportunity moving forward.
