Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I would describe my gameplay style as powerful and aggressive. I’m not afraid to be in your face when it comes to defense and I will dominate left and right handed offensively.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
There is always someone working to be better so taking a day off is never an option. I strive to put everything on the court and in the classroom. Quitting and failure is not an option. My mom has taught me that if you want something you have to work for it and to be prepared to never expect a handout.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am an active member in my youth group , I am on the executive board at my High School, I am in the Honors Society. I participate with my local youth organizations and numerous community outreach programs.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I have taken a leadership role in getting more of our incoming girls to be more involved in off season trainings with coaches and trainers that I work with. I want our team to be hyping each other up. A quiet bench is a losing bench. I push myself to raise the bar and stay active in youth ministries, FCA, and one Gorilla Fitness to help with younger kids just learning the ropes of training.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
One of the biggest challenges I’ve faced is dealing with bullies and trying to handle them and defend myself in a way that represents myself and doesn’t make me stoop to the level that they want me to go to. I try not to be self righteous or act like I’m better than anyone and I never want younger girls coming into a program.
What type of college are you looking for?
A program that has a good Sports Management team, a college that wants me as a player and sees that I will put in the work. My work ethic is going to speak for itself. That I am there to be a team player and I will be put all my effort into the things that will held me succeed. I’m not going to waste any opportunities.
