Hazel is the definition of what a power forward is supposed to look like. She brings strength, soft hands, and is a highly effective scorer on the block. .
She has a smooth shooting stroke that extends out to the top of the key and the three-point line, making her a true inside-out threat. In the open floor, she shows impressive ball-handling ability with the capability to grab a rebound and go coast-to-coast.
Defensively, Hazel plays with a strong base, allowing her to hold position on the block even against bigger post players. She also has the quickness and mobility to step out and defend perimeter players when needed.
I have evaluated Hazel over the past three years, and her development has been significant each time.

Queen of the offensive glass for Jenks. Strong and athletic, Ifeoma rebounds like a taller prospect. Was a handful to keep off the glass, as she gets good position and fights for every rebound. Along with racking up the second chance points, she’s a disruptive defender. Active hands to deflect passes in the paint and had a strong verticality block. The junior is the anchor in the paint on both ends for Jenks.

Physical forward prospect, Ifeoma’s athleticism and strength allows her to play taller than her size. Consistently ran the floor very well. Holds her ground well on defense, and her longer arms are an added bonus there. Knows to get to her spot and establish down low. Good touch around the rim, even finishing through contact. Strong mix of athleticism and toughness make her a handful to deal with in the paint. On both ends of the court.

A player I first saw this fall in the Broken Arrow scrimmage and since then every time I have gotten chance to watch her play, she just continues to get better each time. This week was no different as the Lady Trojans looked like they are ready to make a move to be considered among the Top Teams in Tulsa area. A prototype size for a power forward that is extremely physical when in the paint area. Soft hands and soft touch of the glass should draw some double team help, opening up the outside shooting this season. Showed nice high post jump shot that keeps the defense respective. The Lady Trojans return majority of the their this season so keep an eye on them in 6a

Super active post prospect, who beat up the opposition on the glass and in the paint in two scrimmages watched. Definitely plays bigger than her 5 foot 10 listing. Agile movement when covering ground in the lane, and quick off the floor to swat shots. Same mobility allows her to catch the ball in the high post, and agilely attack as a face up threat. Very promising start to her sophomore campaign for the 918 standout.

First time seeing Hazel play and now I understand why her high school coach was telling me keep an eye on her. Great hands around the rim that catches and finishes with a nice soft touch. A tough inside post defender that did an amazing job of staying on the floor and walling it up making it hard to score on. Gets out on breaks and did a great job filling the breaks.
Look for Hazel to have a break out year on a very young Jenks team.
