About Heidi

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a 6'1" wing with guard skills who can impact the game on both ends of the floor. I can shoot the three, handle the ball, and make plays for teammates, but I also take pride in my defense, using my length to disrupt passing lanes, block shots, and guard multiple positions. I like to play unselfish, smart basketball and do whatever helps my team win.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a team-first player who values doing the little things and staying consistent. I’m competitive and want to keep improving, but I also try to stay positive and composed, even in tough moments. I’m coachable, open to feedback, and I enjoy being part of a team environment where everyone is working toward the same goal.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m a member of the French Honor Society and earned Magna Cum Laude honors this year for my academic performance. I take pride in my work in the classroom and enjoy pushing myself academically.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Basketball has helped me develop strong teamwork and communication skills, along with leadership by example. I’ve learned how to stay disciplined, manage my time, and support my teammates in different roles. I also enjoy giving back—I’ve volunteered at a local food bank, helped coach younger girls in my NC Attack program, and worked part-time in the summer with younger kids at the bilingual German

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college with strong academics where I can be challenged in the classroom and continue to grow as a player. I’m interested in a competitive basketball program with a great team culture, and a school that offers a good balance between athletics, academics, and student life. Ideally, I’d like a school where I can contribute, keep developing, and be part of a close-knit community.
