About Honesty

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Athletic quick guard that can finish at the basket with either hand. Loves to compete on defense and get teammates involved in action.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Highly competitive and very coachable. Locked in from the moment I hit the court. I play hard through the whistle and strive to be vocal on defense as much as offense.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Honor student at the top ranked public high school in Ohio due to academic performance, college readiness, state assessments, and curriculum.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Though I was the only freshman on my varsity basketball team, I worked to be a vocal leader on court and worked hard in practice to earn respect and trust of teammates.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of the biggest challenges I faced was balancing academics with basketball during my freshman year. I realized I needed to be more intentional with my time, so I built a weekly planner and met with my teachers regularly. It wasn’t easy, but I finished the year strong with 3.5 GPA. That experience taught me how to stay focused under pressure and how to ask for support when needed.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that has a strong computer science program and also supports student-athletes. I want a place where I can grow academically while continuing to play basketball.
