Iha is doing a great job at leading this Redmond team that has some younger players who play big roles for the team. She is a phenomenal leader on and off the court and can play multiple positions on the court. She has been scoring the ball smoothly all season long, showing she can score from all 3 levels on the court too. Kasam has the makings of a fantastic college player, so it will be interesting to see where she lands.

The quick guard plays with good court awareness and pace that allows her to impact the game on both ends. She gets up in passing lanes, is solid defending the ball, and can create a lot of opportunities in transition with her ability to create quick turnovers. She’s also a money shooter from behind the arc and can use that quickness to find gaps and dart past defenders inside.

Redmond is a talented team all around and Iha plays a big role for the team. She is a very skilled guard who knows how to get to her spots in the mid-range and get downhill smoothly past defenders to get buckets down in the paint. She can play on or off ball just as smoothly, being able to help get her teammates open looks.

Then: A scoring guard who can shoot it. She showed some eye opening skills in getting her shots up vs pressure. Knocked down lots of threes.
Now: Has led Redmond in scoring the last two years. She is versatile and skilled. What stands out is the continued ability to make good decisions and score in the mid range. She is smooth but tough. She can get buckets.

Iha has been showing steady growth in her game over the past year or so. She has been putting in the extra work to improve her weaknesses and it shows on the court. She drops over 20 points a game. Kasam’s defensive game stands out right when you watch her play just because of how active she is. She is quick on her toes, staying alert and ready to cause havoc. She had about 4 steals a game last year and could very well do something similar next year.

Not only was she circled on the roster sheet but it was followed by an exclamation point. Makes sense to me as she was a top shooter in last year’s event.

Another three point threat. She made 39 of them through 20 games this season. She averaged 14 points per game for Redmond this season and 13 in her freshman year
