About Iris

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a point guard known for my quickness and my ability to make plays on both sides of the ball; I could transition into shooting guard.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am someone who is very competitive and always determined to get better

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a member of FBLA(future business leaders of America) while doing this I have won multiple events at state and qualified for nationals. I was also the president of the associate student body at Salish middle school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

In my roles as asb president and parliamentarian of FBLA at my school I focused on leadership through service and teamwork by creating a school closet to provide clothing for students and tutoring and mentoring kids academically and sports wise.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Growing up as a military child I faced many challenges such as moving every 1-2 years which comes having to adapt to many new environments like meeting new friends, starting new schools, and constantly having to join new sports team

Iris is a bit undersized but she plays very gritty and tough as a point guard. She has fantastic speed, showcasing it on both ends. She sprints the floor every possession, handling the ball well in transition. She can play off ball too, as she can move off ball effectively and shoot the ball at a solid percentage.
