Pleasant Valley is a program that knows how to win in the Playoffs and they demonstrated that on Saturday evening on the road at Bettendorf, where they staged their first upset of this Post Season. PV won this contest because they made it a rock fight. Everyone on their team played efficient basketball offensively, shooting right around 45% from the floor while grabbing 11 steals on defense. All in all, as a group they did all the little things really well to win. Someone from this squad, who put on a very impressive performance in this outing was

, the multiple-sports star. Kremer kept the Bulldogs on a tight leash as she grabbed 18 rebounds total in-between the blocks. Whenever you want to pose an upset, you have to limit the opponent to one shot attempt on most of their offensive trips and Kremer did that for the Spartans to help this team move on for another night of action later this week.

has gotten better every season at Pleasant Valley, and has put together an excellent senior campaign as the cherry on top. The 6’3″ center is dominating the glass for the Spartans and has evolved as a serious scoring threat in the paint. From her freshman season to now, she has increased her scoring average over 3 points and 2 boards each year. In 2025-26, she’s averaging 14.3 points per game while shooting at an elite level — 52%. Adding 10.1 rebounds per game has her name being considered as a dark horse for Player of the Year honors in the Mississippi Athletic Conference. This future Drake volleyballer and double-double machine has lots to be proud of as post-season approaches.

moves for her size is impressive to say the least. At 6’3, Kremer comes to the floor with athletic ability, natural height, and she doesn’t shy away from the spot-light. Sometimes when a taller player takes the floor, they don’t want the ball but that’s not the case here. Kremer consistently demonstrates that from 15FT and in, she can be productive on or off of the ball. I’ve seen her work the midrange and hit jumpers off the pull up. Which is pretty impressive given her height and that no one defending can usually reach her high release point. I’ve seen her move between multiple positions on the floor to create space for others around her and I’ve seen her make multiple stops in a row defensively other oppositions. All of these things along with her consistent motor makes this for an interesting prospect. From what I’ve heard she is also a promising young talent on the Volleyball court as well so it’l be intriguing to see where she lands at the next level, when that decision finally arrives.

The PV Spartans started things slow in the first quarter, only scoring 5 points today but they ended strong, just coming up short at the final buzzer by a few. One of the constants for the Spartans that made a difference was

. Kremer is listed at 6’3 and she truly seems to be that size. Along with that size, she demonstrated a lot of skilled ability today. She displayed a smooth 15FT jumper off the catch, she hit her defender with a step through after being cut off in the middle of the lane at one time, and she defended her position near the paint at a respectful rate. She might not of scored the most amount of points but she did a great job of holding her own in a lot of aspects as a prospect. If it wasn’t for her, this game would have gotten out of hand and stayed that way.

is noticeable when she is out on the floor. That she plays next to someone that is 6’3, just makes her seem like she is more of an average size, when that’s not the case. Kremer is a weapon with that size. She might not average 25 PPG but she has does some work in the paint today and she is seeing success because of that. If PV wants to make a big run during the Playoffs, Kremer’s lengthy will play a key factor.”

is going to have the job of stepping up this winter to replace some of the varsity players that their roster losses due to graduation, after coming off of a State Championship last season. Kremer stands at 6’2 with coordination and patience. She is going to be a big time player for her Pleasant Valley team this winter in many ways but the most important? Defensively. Kremer is the type of player that can stick with smaller guards or she can wall up against opponents that might be alike to herself in size. She is disciplined to the point that she stays down on most shot attempts, making the offensive player shoot a tough shot over her contested hand, usually resulting in a miss and rebound for herself. Overall, Kremer could emerge as a top post throughout the state of Iowa before this season comes to an end but it’s going to take some things to fall into place, starting with her continued dedication to this sport we call basketball.

Last season the Pleasant Valley Spartans won the 5A state championship in Iowa behind some veteran leadership, intense game-play, and great coaching. With that being said, this upcoming season a lot of their younger talent is going to need to step up to put together another magical season for the Spartans. One of those talents is

. Kremer saw the floor a little bit last year but moving forward, I expect her to see a whole lot more. The 6’2 center is a solid all-around player. An athlete who understands what she is good at and doesn’t try to do to much. Kremer comes into this update at #43 but I don’t see her staying in this spot for very long. If she stays dedicated in the off-season and grinds all the way up until the winter comes, this Pleasant Valley team is going to be in good shape for the 23-24′ season.
