Mims elevated her profile with a standout performance during the state championship game, showing the ability to produce in pressure moments. She displayed strong footwork and versatility, impacting the game both on the perimeter and with her back to the basket. She runs the floor well, absorbs contact, and competes physically, while also bringing defensive presence. She can cover the three and the four, and in the State playoffs, she was even matched agaoinst a two. Mims drew significant attention from college coaches at the state tournament as well as at the showcase. With continued consistency and urgency, she is a player who will continue to generate more college interest.

Mims brought a strong two-way impact, contributing 17 points along with six rebounds – four on the offensive end. Her ability to convert efficiently and attack the rim with strength, footwork, and physicality showed her diverse skillset as a power forward. Mims set the tone for the state championship game, scoring on nearly every position in the first half. She also facilitated from the post when double-teamed, showing her ability to read defenses and make good decisions with the ball in her hands. She also made her presence felt defensively with active hands and effort plays that helped generate stops and transition opportunities.

Isyss was an absolute force for the Tigers (especially when Chamiah went out with injury), leading her team with 17 points on an efficient 8-17 shooting. She was the primary reason Ely held the lead for 15:24 of the game. Mims was relentless on the boards (6 rebounds) and active in the passing lanes, but as BTW tightened their interior defense in the fourth quarter, she found fewer clean looks. Despite the loss, her performance established her as a premier scoring threat on the state stage.

Isyss brings good size and length to a team loaded with talented guards which gives her a valuable two-way presence. She used that length to block shots and crash the boards and impacted plays that go beyond the box score. Offensively, she showed confidence knocking down the baseline midrange jumper, mixed in a solid shot fake and drive, and capped it off with a reverse layup finish. Her touch, feel around the rim, and ability to run the floor make her a key piece for the Tigers.

Isyss jumps nearly 20 spots and slots herself into the Top 75 of the entire state. Her size and frame make her very versatile and a tough matchup for opponents. She averaged 8 points & 6.8 rebounds per game on one of the best teams in South Florida. She’s strong, physical, and has nice footwork around the rim. With her being a bit of a tweener, if her outside shot continues to improve – she will even more of a force!

Mims was strong in the rebound department and had big rebounds on the offensive side of the ball. She was able to finish through physical play.
