About Ivy

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style is comfortability on the court. I’m very comfortable shooting threes from distance. I also play with pressure defense and in a team style play.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a positive mindset, and prefer feedback from coaches. I prefer playing with a team that has fun and has a love for a game, rather than playing with a team that’s just to win.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have received presidential honor roll awards.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed mentoring to the youth, and leadership for my team. I also give personal trainings to girls that are interested in playing basketball. I also developed teamwork as I’m a team player.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

A significant challenge I’ve faced is playing for a coach that was eventually fired for his physical and mental abusive behavior. He taught me how to stay positive and focus on my love for the game.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college where I can receive an education while continuing to play basketball.
