Briar Cliff is offering a lot of respectable talent out of the Midwest lately as they look to keep up with their success the last couple of years. Someone that they recently offered with ample size for her position is the SF out of Izabella Farley. Farley knows how to play a simple type of play style. She works hard and plays through her fundamentals. She has a ton of discipline on defense so she makes her mark as being someone that can alter a high amount of attempts by the opponent near the hoop each contest. This BC offer is another to add to the group of Farley. She has a few interested parties at this point in her process so now it’s just about figuring out where feels the most like home.

Central (Dutch) College has been handing out offers at a high rate the last few weeks as they look at lock in some difference makers out of the 2027 Class within Iowa. One of their most recent targets is Izabella Farley of Wapsie Valley High School. Farley has a good track record over her high school career. She is a true 6’0 Forward, that can move to multiple positions on the floor on offense and defense. Over her high school career she has averaged noteworthy numbers for her squads and that’s going to lead to some chances to compete at the next level eventually. This is one of the first offers from Farley that I’ve seen but I’m sure it won’t be the last. She has a well rounded game with her size so the potential for production at the next level is there as long as she finds herself in the right system.

When we get to our next Update this upcoming Summer Izabella Farley Izabella Farley 6'0" | SF/PF Wapsie Valley | 2027 State IA is going to be added into the Top 75 as long as she holds her own during AAU season this Spring. Farley is a tough matchup for oppositions. She stands at a true 6’0 and she might not move the quickest but she actually uses that to her advantage. She knows how to use her body on the offensive end to give herself consistent looks from all over the floor. If she catches at the three point line and you sag off, there is a chance she is going to put it up and make it with her fundamental shot form. If she catches in the middle with her back to the basket and ample time, she is going to convert for a simple bucket either over the defender or going through the defender. Either way though, it’s going to be a promising shot attempt from close range with a high conversion rate. If you are looking for some promise out of someone from the 2027 Class, that has some size and is fairly underrated – Farley could be your girl. She is coming off of a successful Junior high school season and she is ready to build on that moving forward.

Izabella was a power forward prospect who started the PGH Victory Region Finals tournament strong on Saturday with Iowa Prep 17U. She set solid screens and rolled to the rim to score layups off two feet. Isabella cut back door down the baseline to score a layup and battled for the advantage to secure rebounds. She finished well with a soft touch off two feet around the basket. Isabella utilized her length to force missed shots and deflect passes on defense.

When you talk about Iowa Prep and their AAU Basketball program, you always talk about a program that does things the right way. They take what they are given, they have solid coaching to back them up, they play for one another, and they always seem to play with a positive attitude – no matter the situation. A prospect for this program, that I’ve seen some promise out of moving into this Winter is Izabella Farley Izabella Farley 6'0" | SF/PF Wapsie Valley | 2027 State IA of Independence High School. Farley is a 5’10 Forward with some versatility. She seems more comfortable going toward the hoop during her team’s offensive action and that’s okay. During high school ball, Farley competes with Independence High School and as a Freshman, she put up a respectable season. She will returning this Winter trying to build on that. Something that is definitely doable.

Izabella Farley Izabella Farley 6'0" | SF/PF Wapsie Valley | 2027 State IA is someone that started a year ago for her Independence High School team and she is primed to be a main producer in their rotation once again this Winter. Farley stands at 5’10 and competes at the Small Forward position, while also being able to step out and spread the floor depending on her matchups. Farley has competed with Iowa Prep this AAU season and she has seemingly gotten better with her experience. This is a Prep program that does a great job of bringing positive energy and helping their players grow not only as basketball prospects but as people in general. If Farley can continue to hold her own this Summer, she is going to be able to ride that momentum into the Winter with Independence and I can’t wait to see how that plays out for her Sophomore season on the court.
