Izzy Hollingshead Izzy Hollingshead 5'8" | CG Dixie | 2028 State UT may have been the best lead guard on the floor this weekend, going up against top-tier talent from across the country and standing out. Her performance translated directly to results, as she picked up her first two Division I offers.

She’s a true scoring threat, able to get to the rim with confidence while also knocking down shots from the perimeter, making her a tough guard for defenses to contain.

Even as a sophomore, Izzy established herself as one of the most dominant players in 4A, leading the classification in multiple statistical categories while guiding Dixie all the way to the championship game. Averaging 18 points, 3 assists, and 4 steals per contest, she impacted the game on every level. Her scoring punch set the tone offensively, her playmaking kept the offense flowing, and her defensive pressure consistently created extra possessions. She wasn’t just productive — she was the engine behind Dixie’s deep postseason run.

4A All-Tourney Team

Dixie has been on a roll this month, and the engine behind that surge is Izzy. She’s been setting the tone on both ends, pouring in as many as 29 points in a night and wreaking havoc defensively with games of nine steals. Her scoring punch, pace, and feel for the game drive everything Dixie does, and her leadership and court IQ are turning this into a program that teams will have to circle on the schedule for years to come.

For such a young player, she showed maturity and composure well beyond her years. She ran the floor with purpose, and her absence was immediately felt when she wasn’t on the court. She was the first to the ball after a miss, showing hustle and awareness every possession. Shifty with the dribble, she can get by defenders and has the vision to find open teammates, even when playing alongside new faces.
