Goode took her talents over to the Rivals and after getting comfortable she looked very appealing as a next-level wing. Jacylah proved she can be highly effective in different roles and this is exactly what top programs are searching for their wings most of the time. She’s been having some interactions with schools and even has taken some tours recently.

One of the top wings in ’27 was just offered by NC Central University last week.

Jacylah has a smooth fadeaway jumper around the paint, elevating well to get clean looks over defenders. She doesn’t over-dribble, making quick and efficient decisions every time the ball is in her hands. Jacylah attacks the basket with strength and finishes through contact while also displaying excellent footwork, using pivot moves to create separation without needing an extra dribble.

No pun intended, but it’s good to see Jacylah getting the recognition after all the countless hours working on her craft and the ability to sustain such high-level play for this amount of time without any dropoff or stagnant progression. Yes, she’s already had some big offers, but the school list is getting longer. So many coaches would be pleased to being in a talent of her caliber. Siena was the latest program to offer the prominent wing.

What an impression Goode made this weekend. There were a few highlight plays that were absolutely beautiful to watch, but it was her efficiency that really stood out. The top-rated wing made it a point to move with a purpose in her dribbles, consistently being in attacking positions out of triple-threat and showing expectational finishing ability deep in the paint. The weightroom must be paying off because Jacylah was moving defenders at will. The size, raw power, length and foundational shooting posed a serious risk to opponents.

Goode has a game that’s going to easily translate to the next level. Her movements, physique, long-range shooting ability and defensive awareness are all standout qualities. Jacylah is such a bright star in the class.

Goode was fantastic over the weekend. It was obvious she’s come into the AAU season improved upon. Although these are in subtle areas; the advancements have made a world of differences. Particularly as an isolation scorer, Jacylah found herself getting heavy pressure from defenders and she had to prove that she could capitalize “mano a mano” without room for error. There were a handful of possessions heavily contested, but what stood out the most was how comfortable she looked. Jacylah was getting into her combo bag effortlessly and transitioning into an easy- flowing shots from the nail. Goode is worth all the buzz.

Jacylah has a completely loveable game. With her overwhelming high caliber ability as a 3-level scorer, there’s no wonder so many coaches are intrigued. Goode extends the floor with long-range shooting capabilities that can be incorporated within the offense, but she’s also an excellent outlet option for drivers looking for someone to kick to in the corners. The relocation skills Goode possesses mark a player that knows exactly when and where to get the best shot off at. The 6’0 wing also has no problem taking mismatches in the post either. It’ll be intriguing to see if Jacylah will show a bit more creation skills off the bounce in her new threads, something she’s certainly capable of. Loomis Chaffee may give her more opportunities to fully spread her wings this season.
