Five-foot-10 freshman Jada Kirk Jada Kirk 5'10" | SF Mountainside | 2029 State OR is a quick guard with nice length who stood out as a capable defender in the varsity division of the 3×3 Hoop League on Day 1. She played high-pressure on-ball defense and was ready to help off-ball. The innate athlete used her spatial awareness and speed to hunt perimeter and cross-court passes. She contested shots inside and out. Kirk could be a backcourt disruptor in the Metro League for Mountainside this upcoming season.

Jada Kirk Jada Kirk 5'10" | SF Mountainside | 2029 State OR is a rising freshman and multi-sport athlete out of Mountainside High School. She’s highly skilled and talented in soccer, basketball, and track. This past summer, she’s been competing with her club team, FBC. She’s attended team camps at various universities, as well as events like the University of Oregon elite camp and The Blueprint.

Jada stands out in any event she attends by her hard work ethic and her high competitive level of play. She’s a natural leader out on the court and an elite defender. She has good size at 5’10”. A strong combo guard who can shoot off the dribble quickly and sees the floor well when setting up plays.
When interviewed about her experience at The Blueprint, Jada said her favorite part was getting to know new people and receiving great advice from coaches. She said that the skill development techniques she learned will help her get better and become more successful in the future.

For this upcoming season, some things Jada plans to work on are being more efficient in all areas, such as steals, rebounds, assists, and scoring. She said she loves basketball because it is a way to express herself in an environment where she can try new things and learn with her peers.

Whether she’s winning a 100-meter dash race on the track, or dribbling a basketball and/or soccer ball, one things for certain, Jada is certainly working hard and competing on many levels. If Jada could go anywhere to play in college, her dream program would be the University of North Carolina. A strong choice for a strong student athlete.

She may not light up the box score (yet), but she contributes on both ends of the floor. Kirk makes strong cuts, gets downhill, rebounds, and runs the floor. She’s one to watch in her freshman season at Mountainside.
