Rivera has been a standout in tough competition. Even with the high stakes, she still looks so smooth and always in control. The defense consistently tries to speed her up, but her tempo is unmatched. As she gets into her groove, it becomes rally hard to get her out. Jaidelis showed ideal pace coming off screens and she made plays getting downhill as well as finding her shot from deep in the film watched. Rivera is a ’27 that’s worthy of more spotlight.

New London’s own Rivera definitely made some statements in the school season in her junior year, but it’s likely her game will translate even better in AAU. Her arrival as a creative playmaker made it easy to consider her for a list like this. The way she crafts space, initiates the flow of offense and knocks down tough shots getting downhill or east to west is nothing short of thrilling to watch.
