She is a reliable three-point shooter who finds space well on the wings and can knock down shots off the catch. She also plays at her own pace, handling pressure calmly and making advanced reads to push the ball to teammates before the defense sets.

Valentina knocked down some shots from range and led her teammates to some baskets with detailed passes. Her confident shooting took the Huskies out of an early slump. Resto’s overall positive outlook allowed the team to remain optimistic through the tough stretches. Not only that, but Valentina was one of the more willing defenders that wasn’t afraid to engage ballhandlers way out. The tirelessness shown even when down was such a positive characteristic to see.

Valentina represents the list of talented prospects as the sole freshman here. There’s no carelessness in Resto’s game. The efficient combo guard is coming into the season with a polished skillset that translates to efficient offense. She plays under control and has a plethora of composed 2-feet finishes. Resto isn’t the biggest gambler on defense either. She keeps ballhandlers within distance and disrupts shooters in rhythm. Dana Hall has a sound weapon on their hands with Valentina on the team.
